January 1: Bolivia slightly changed its coat of arms.
May 8: Fiji removed the white disc from its flag.
July 10: Iraq adopted a new flag.
August 11: Southern Rhodesia was granted a colonial badge.
September 19: Bukhara became a Soviet Socialist Republic and was formally annexed to the Soviet Union.
November 26: Mongolia enacted a new socialist constitution.
Sometime in 1924: Jebel Druze replaced the stars on its state flag with a small French flag.
